The message doesn't actually do anything. You can just click on 'multiplay' like normal and pretend that it isn't there. Easy isn't it :)Comment

The message does NOTHING to Xfire. DiCE made a change to the game that makes Xfire even better. Since the patch came out all I have to do is click on my 'friend' and then choose 'join game' and BF2 boots up without having to login anymore.
Xfire haven't updated their program yet to get it working with BF2 but this page will show you how to fix it.
