Hey gang,
I have started renting a P4 2.8ghz system from a data center in my home town. It's running Windows 2003 standard SP1. It's got the basic XP firewall turned on and I'm having problems connecting from home.
I tried opening all the ports listed but I can't add port ranges in XP firewall. I tried turning the firewall off completely but that didnt' make a difference either. I've done some editing on the serversettings.con like entering the server ip, welcome message etc.
When I try to connect it locks my BF 2 up at the "loading server" screen.
If anyone has had a similar problem or has any ideas I would appreciate the help.
Cheers.
