getting kill assist

I am not sure if it was reported already but I did a search and didnt found anything.

Lately I noticed weird scores for me and clan mates, we knew we had a killed some people to find out number of kills was 0 etc...


It happens even on EA servers, what happens is you kill someone, usually I can reproduce it with the M95. do a lot of damage to someone , then kill it, you will receive one point and a kill assist, not points for the kill. not sure if anyone gets the kill, but it is getting kinda anyoing specially for snipers...

sorry its indeed a bit confuse.

what I mean is you kill someone and only get a kill assist (on screen and in points too), even if you know you killed the guy

(like you and him alone face to face with no one around)

I think it is related to killing him not in one shot (or burst), but with doing first a lot of damage, and some time later (5 seconds to 1 min or more) you kill him.

its evrry weird but happened to a lot of people around me so it is probably not an isolated bug (and it happened on multiple servers)

I cant remember what the kill message was or even if there was one, though the guy was indeed dead and if there was a message it wasnt for me for sure.
