I just played my best roud ever a little while ago. I got 36 kills straight and never died once. I was gunner on a blackhawk that was being utilized in the best possible manner. We had the pilot, two gunners, and a few riders. We would fly to whatever spot our forces called us to(using the request air support function). We would fly circles over the flag that our forces were attacking, just mowing mothers down. We never once hovered to cap a flag, just providing an airborne gun platform. The fellas in the back would bail out if the ground pounders needed some help, and if they died, they just spawned back to the heli. This was the best use of a blackhawk I have yet seen. Wish it all came together like that more often.

lol.wow intence.i for one usually never jump out but then i allways go as an engineer and ill repair as needed and as long as it takes now to fix huh need more people to repair.and i think with the way the game is now it would be better to jump out if all you are doing is getting the flag,it would go much faster and if your pilot is good youll still have a ride when flag cap completed.being in same sqaud is also best way to regain a seat.and i do miss the days of a full blackhawk capn a flag and racking up points,but yesterday is gone so.oh yea and since i suck so much i am usually not to worried bout points but how best to serve my team,i do as im instructed as best i can.and sometimes i think joining other team would best serve them.

This was what the blackhawk was originally meant for when it was first put in DC. Blackhawks ruined DC for me because I sucked to much and they were too awesome. Your supposed to do circles or figure eights around the area that the infantry is trying to take and clear out the hostiles. Doing this makes you a mobile gun platform that is a lot harder to hit then one that just sits there hovering. I just wish i could find pilots that like to do tactics like that because I love using that gun. Pilots that still try to use it as a flying tank just get raped every time.

Shame. The patch was supposed to end blackhawk teams and such but I see the fans of it are hanging on. They are like the Jedi...hanging on to find their way in the dark..
