Its hardly fair when you read my complaint not about this website or its staff or even its server if they have one but would like to warn others. ZBoards was the server I was using tonight. If shot one lad as he hopped off into the background then yet another person did the same and the same thing happen each time I was punished for something that was not my fault at all. So I wrote the owners of the server a email. Would you agree what I have said is right?

I wish to complain about Battlefield 2 in which I was quite happy playing without cheating or killing my own side. But when I was punished via a player I was booted off. It started out by other gaming members hopping around like a rabbits. I accidental hit him with my grenade this is hardly fair is it? I have enjoyed the site that you have set up and added it to the favourites and then this happens.

You should say anyone caught hopping around will be banned from your servers. As people like myself who get kicked via someone else's stupidity by hopping around. As you can tell that I am very disappointed in your server for kicking me off when I did nothing to be kicked for. I have always played fair and even if by accident I hop and manage to kill another person in the game I have always said sorry for hop did not mean it.

I hope that you will respond to my complaint and will take the opportunity to ban members from your servers from hopping around. Its not part of the game.

hmm, well, to tell you the truth hopping is part of the game, if it's in the game, use it. It isn't a cheat or an exploit, it may be annoying. But it is much more annoying to be tk'd than it is to see someone bunny hop.

You have done what you needed by writing them a letter, I am not sure what you hope to gain by reposting it here. If you are looking for support, this group isn't really about the group hug.

however, he is right about one thing..

rare is it that server admins actually enforce their rules.. unless
of course you do something illegal to them directly.. so basically
all them rules they put in their message is hogwash..

and yeah, punishing is out of control in BF2. I had to stop using
my favorite kit, engineer, because teammates would run right
over any mines I set.. and wouldnt even try to avoid them..

personally, I think if you kill a teammate you should lose 2 points..
period... done and over with.. no more no less... just automatic
2 point deduction and go on with the game.. when you leave
punishment in the hands of someone who just died, your chances
are good youll be punished...whether it was your fault or not..

fact is, everyone wants to score as many points as possible..
and theres no better way for these morons to make themselves
feel better about their sucky game than to try and bring your
score down closer to theirs..

the whole system stinks... again....take 2 points for a tk, and that
should be it.. do away with this punishing system crap.
