My clan ran an unranked BF2 server that we didn't even play on because it wasn't ranked. We would log onto ranked servers together and kick butt.

Then one day they realized our CSS servers were lagging... turns out our BF2 server was one of the top 100 unranked servers! 24/7 32vs32 action haha... and we missed all of it.

Once we closed the doors on the server we got a few complaints, but nothing big. One poor sap even thought it was a ranked server!

i have played a ranked server once since the patch came out (to gain my ranks and unlock weopons) Since then, i have been unranked for some reason. i just need another 700 points for my next rank up, so i guess i'll play ranked to get it, then once thats done, ive got all the unlocks i need :P

ranked. just prefer the games there. I like how every action counts.

Yea. I played sometimes at servers with all unlocks before but now, only ranked.

I play on ranked servers just so i can see the stats and see how i am doing, just nice to look at what your good with.

Definetly UNRANKED! Almost all ranked servers are filled with boring fraghunters who care nothing about teamwork or fun game, its all about scores for them. In unranked people play for fun rather than for score.

ive personally never played on any kind of unranked server, id prefer if the ranked servers had more maps or even put the maps on a random play. some other game modes would also be nice.
