Thought I might bring some light in to the otherwise argumentative world of BF2, but it appears I was mistaken.

Got a nice little private message just now:

"Please stop spamming the forums, or you will be banned, you have yet to make one intelligent post."

Which I guess means I'm outta here.

But anyway... I'm going to have to disagree with that accusation. Your posts have been a ray of light amongst the usual riff-raff.

PS - I thought this one was intelligent...

wouldn't "ipconfig /renew" do this without intefering with the ISP? That of course, assumes you've not got a router in between you and the Net. If so, you may be able to log on to the router and get it to cycle...

Guess that's just one man's opinion...

It's a bit of a shame, really. I like alot of people on this forum. All it took was one response from me to some dude on the "PROOF of AIM" thread and bingo, game over.

I'm not out to **** people off, and as moronic as many of my posts may be (or perhaps not moronic, depending on which side of the humour-line one stands), I've seen much worse.

It would appear that:

1) I don't have enough experience in BF2 to comment. (Shame that, even those with oodles of playtime still post the most ingeniously-devised ways of admitting idiocy).
2) If you post a thread thats vaguely humourous (or, humourLESS), it's considered spamming. Shame that, I wanted to talk all day about the n00b tube.... didn't you?

I swear in a court of law I'd pwn.

I appreciate what you've said. All I can say is, no names. One minute some guy attacks me out of the blue in a thread, I respond, next minute i get a PM from an admin. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

He is free, having to put two of his threads into the dumpster in one morning is something he should realize is unacceptable.

Take it as a warning and move on.
