Am I the only person that reads through all the posts in a thread before posting? There are some exceptions, but damn - it seems like most people read the original post, and then just post quick replies without reading anything else that was posted by other people. I can understand when you are new to a 5-10 page thread you may not want to read the whole discussion...but at the same time, you may not want to post. Most of the time when a post goes on that long, it has strayed very far from topic.

I most of the time read the posts quickly, and if I don't read them and just wnat to reply on the thread, I start my thread with @topicstarter , then you know it's just a reply to the topicstarter and not to the other posters.

Sometimes on this forum here things just go to fast

What's worse than posting without reading the thread is NOT going back to edit your original post with something at least resembling:

Obviously, some idiots are more idiotic than others and will continue to argue their point about squares being circles, irrespective of the challenging thread-topic of "Are squares really squares?"...
