Actually, only time I drop the assault rifle and grab the noobtoob is when there's a no talent bunny hopping dolphin diving mutated git.

You know the one, the one child that hops about like some sort of irradiated jack rabbit in the face of knowing he has no skill.

Anything you can do to end these guys game round is all good by my standards.

Otherwise upgraded engineer shotgun works just as well, with more realism.

i never even remember the fact that there is a GL attached to my gun -- the G3 is the way to go for assault anyway

1st off.. you had better be careful about your opinions here. You are speaking for the whole SIR community and frankly, I wouldn't put up with your putting words in their mouths saying that you are going to ban people for using a weapon that is built into the game. Remember that you have SIR pasted all over your name and frankly your making your entire community look like a bunch of whiney @ss-hats.

2nd, Its a part of the game and people like you will always find something that is a part of the game to bitch about.. I have no empathy for you or people like you who are never pleased by anything..

Okay I couldn't disagree more, IMHO opinion he is not representing the entire community, maybe if he said "The entire Sir Community feel this way......." but did he? No, he is merely giving his PERSONAL opinion and respect his and others opinions.

I swear when people log onto the internet and especially forums, Norms and Values of our societies seem to diminish rather quickly, must be being able to hide behind a persona on the net.

I didnt say anything about point blank range, but thank you for your imput. I, on the contrary, commented to a potential scenario that involves 6 feet and most likely jumping(i.e. distance between the 2). Easily survivable when assault...

Why? Didn't we suffer through this in in DC with the Saiga 12k and the VSS? Why now, in BF2, must we tolerate the grenade launchers? Dubbed the "n00b cannon" for a reason, the GP-30 and it's counterparts are used, predominantly, as a Close Quarters Combat weapon by players who are completely unskilled with every other gun. Thanks to EA and DICE's weapons physics, these unskilled n00bs are able to launch a grenade to a target less than 6 feet away and not die with their enemy.

Anyway, to make a long story longer, this ****es me off to no end.

I know of several servers that BAN for the use of the grenade launchers. I suspect my clan server will be doing the same shortly.

the real NOOB cannon is the 2nd seat in the attack choppers..

no skill, and nearly no defense against it.. , well, yeah, you can
hit it once with a AT but pilot just flys off to repair and comes back
with more spam..

Take a look at all these chopper and jet whores points at the end
of the game.... look for youself.. nearly no team points at all..
basically, they are nothing but spammers who play BF2 to fly
around and kill things.. with little regard to the actual team effort.

Thats the real NOOB cannon.. grenade launchers dont bother me
a bit.. just learn how to shoot first.. now the chopper spam is
a differant story.

eh, its my opinion, but the people that support the noob tubers and think that they can kill one of them before they pop a grenade right on your feet, probably cant do what they say they do and probably noob tube themself...

Im all for realism...and would pretty much go along with any additions
or deletions to the game in any aspect that would be more 'realistic'...
i.e. choppers that take ground = unrealistic... but all these whiners
that complain about an enemy jumping (bunny hopping..) how silly..
And now against the grenade launcher...boo hoo..

If you wanna whine about something thats totally silly, totally unrealistic..
how about whining about choppers that take ground..tank shells that
do little damage to choppers..silly magical maps with your all enemies
locations on it.. Those are just damn silly...

I'm in complete agreement with you on that. A person should have the right to use whatever weapon they chose without fear of being banned.
