A clan member and I had a grudge match last night. Nothing but knives. I was on fire and got at least 15 knife kills in that match. Pretty soon I was going against three of my clan members by myself. LOL

I got my basic knife on Karkand at the top left flag where both teams were concentrating, MEC kept spawning and USMC were just screwing about. I just whipped out my knife and started running about like an idiot.

10 seconds before the round was over I was awarded Basic Knife.

I got basic pistol on Dragon Valley as a sniper with the M95. You shoot them once and pick them off with the pistol, easy enough, problem is just finding the free frags.

I just made up my mind to get the pistol this morning. I'm surprised how easy it was. Maybe I was lucky but I ended up with a 1:1 K/D ratio. That pistol really can own people. It's rate of fire is only limited to how fast you can click your mouse.
Anyone remember the old 'turbo' game pads that Nintendo had? I need one of those for this game. LOL

Pistol is not that bad, knife however is hard. I got 6 knife kills on one map and could not get the last 7th!

To this i might add also that it's sometimes surprising how some players freeze when u rush to them head on with your knife. They just cant believe someone from the other team would do something like that, and that gives u just enought time to kill him.

Think outside the box for the knife. The UAV is your friend. I, when I get bored, go MEC on karkand and Hide to the north out of UAV range. I then wait for some US spawn campers to show up and *stab* *stab *stab*. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I got like 300 pistol kills (i love showing people up with them)its not to hard to get these if you get a friend or 2 to pistol with you not only its fun but a lot of the time we was in the top 3 and we got best squad.trust me its not hard to get basic. 7 pistol in one karkand. best way to get knife kills is to go in the allys and wait for them to run by or camp a flag with your knife dont forget to jump and run and act crazy.i like to dive at my victoms of knife.
