if you're worried about ghosting or any artifacting, you're barking up the wrong tree. this display runs 100% crisp while gaming. if you're interested in large lcd's, i strongly suggest you go to your nearest Apple store and check them out for yourself.

when you see the 23 and the 30 inch displays sitting next to each other, the 30 simply dwarves the 23 in comparison. the problem with the 30 is that unless you have a Dual-Link DVI port on your video card, you WILL need to upgrade. when i purchased the 23, i didn't have a video card like that, nor did i want to wait for a PC-compatible card to become available (for less than $1000). most higher-end nVidia cards (7800GT, 7800GTX) have dual-link DVI ports. argh...

not really. you would be able to run the game at 1600x1200. i don't know what size display you have now, but if it's less than 19", you will actually be able to support higher resolutions (resulting in prettier graphics) with the 19".

i no this is not yhe place to ask this but how do you post sreenshots and whats the ulr all about

Steps for posting screenshots:
1. Take the ingame screenshots
2. Locate them on your PC (generally C:\Documents and Settings\your_username\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Screenshots
3. Upload them to a webhost or to a site that lets you store photos, etc
4. Copy and Paste the link to that image into a post on this site using the following syntax: (replace "<>'s" with "[]'s)

To display an image: <img>http://www.example.com/your_photo.jpg</img>
To display a link: <url=http://www.example.com/your_photo.jpg>Your Link Text Here</url>

5. Submit the post.
6. Done.

i kinda wonder the same thing. i'm thinking that it may be caused by the game not having any proper support for widescreen. i had to modify my shortcut for Battlefield 2 to support 1920x1200. otherwise i end up with 1024x768 maximum stretched as my top option. notice how the mini-map is not a perfect circle? that stretching is a sign that BF2 does not properly support widescreen- even with the shortcut modified.

Makes sense , im running all ultra high at 6x aa .... how do you get to 8x aa? going through video.con file like i did to get ultra high? also you notice any difference between the 2? I would try these things myself but seems i do certian things and bf2 just crashes when loading so i have to restore the pc to an earlier date.

what i did to enable 8x AA was through the Windows Display control panel. under the nVidia portion of the control panel, there's a tab that deals with application-specific profiles (e.g.: Battlefield 2) where you can adjust options such as AA, Anisotropic filtering, etc. you can either choose to let the application control them or to set them from that control panel. thus the 8x.

graphics-wise, i can't tell. performance? can't tell. *shrugs*
