    Removing the startup screens ?

    Sorry if this has been asked before my search failed,

    How do you remove the damn annoying start up movies from BF2 ???

          Just find them in the game directory and rename them. BF doiesn't find them and skips them, speeding things up.

              rename all files in the moves sub-directory
              (! justed added "1" to the end of each name)
              in case I ever wanted them back the right way

                  Or just rename the Movie directory to Movie.bak...so you don't have to rename each file. Saves 350Mb of ram since you don't have to load the movies or the intro.

                      Yup...rename them all to .bak or something...that way if you ever want them back you can just rename them again.
