Total BF2 Server old PB version

I was trying to get into on of the TotalBF2 servers this evening and all of us kept getting kicked by punk buster on this site because we were using a more current version.

That server was using the original version of A1310. C1.199 (version A1310 comes with the game) The current version is A1360 with C1.199.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll have a look at it. :)

Update: There's nothing I can do, so I've sent in a support ticket to GameDaemons. They should be fixing it up soon.

This is a screen shot of the error. I should have wrote down the IP of the site. But if my memory serves me it was one of the 18 player maps.

I will see if I can find the IP. They may all have the same issue anyway.

Days later and still having the same exact problem?????

All BF2 servers I tried, same problem.
I am guessing that all have the same problem. I did not try all. But the ones I did exhibited the same PB problem.

Still having it? Grrr that's weird, I manually updated each one. I'll look again. :/

Try updating punkbuster, mine seemed to have updated I think.

You know, this is really weird. I was still having the same problem. And my pb files were all updated with PBWEB.exe and PBSeteup.exe (Even balance programs) And I have played with no problems lately on all other servers.

So I thought maybe something could be corrupted. I deleted all in my PB folder and copied an original set of PB files I saved from original install.

Ran PBWeb to update and joined one of the servers. No kick anymore. Left the server and updated with PBSetup and it changed my PB version from A1310 to A1361 and showed that C1.199 was correct version and did not update that part. So I thought maybe that is it, the server does not recognize the newer A1361. As it says in the kick error. "This PB Server requires A1310 C1.199". I joined the server and again had no problems.

So I re-copied my PB files I have been playing with lately and updated with both PBweb and PBsetup and they were current on both parts. Joined the server and got kicked for server requires A1310. How strange.

Re-installed good set of files and no problem again.

Both sets are updated by Even balances programs but one results in a kick for server requires A1310 and on plays on fine even though it is A1361.

I noticed during this entire process around 20 to 30 people getting kicked. I can only guess for this same problem. Why is this set of servers having this problem when none of the others are. I tested this primarily on 69.12.71.110.

I see the fix for the client side. That is obvious. But what is different on the server side. It is impossible to get a game going on TotalBF2 servers. I have no problems with other servers. Is the PB settings too restrictive for errors?

Anyone look into this. Still my group are able to play with a good set of PB files that I have. 4 out of 8 of us had bad PB files. But these same bad PB files had no problems on other PB enabled ranked servers. I am glad we are all fixed but we can't seem to get a game going on a TotalBF2 server because people are getting kicked left and right for PB.

TotalBF2 you have PB cranked up? No complaints if that is the case. But I think it is more likely that PB on these servers is somehow off just a tad. All I know is the Total BF2 servers are unfortunatly very vacant. Let's get some games going on these babies.
