      Re: joystick again

Well since I'm an avid flight simmer and an FPS guy, I'll give you a few tips. I'm going to assume you do not have a flight sim, so you will not need one of the high tech HOTAS sticks such as mine (I own a X52 FCS from Saitek http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/x52.htm ). For someone such as yourself I'd go for the second stick you've listed. Pretty much any stick will work for you but you don't need to spend the money on a HOTAS stick for BF2. Basically it's all on user preference and the amount of cash you got.

      P.S. HOTAS - "Hands on throttle-and-stick"

Please do yourself a favor and do not get the Logitech. I like my mouse and my speakers by them, but their joysticks just plain suck. I have one of those, that exact model. I am on my second one, and now the second one will not calibrate (buttons burned out on the first one). If you look at online reviews, the Logitechs are plagued with reliability problems.

Let me put it this way, I called Logitech after my first joystick burned out and they sent me the second one for free, I didn't even have to send them the first. Now a company that will do that is a company that KNOWS they have problems. The guy I talked to on the phone was very nice and he was not surprised AT ALL to hear my joystick went south on me.
