Run it on default settings. Try closing all programs and running it. Are you sire you have all chipset drivers installed?

my score was 6696, is that good, the first test i took was around 4000.

I think your wrong, I have the same card and stock I scored 1000 higher than that.

I get 6007 3DMark 05 with an old X800pro@pe speeds matched with a 3200XP Barton and a Gig of Ram, all on air an all. Not bad for an old socket on air.
Your score with that card is Low.
Check your task manager for progs you can turn off. Run Spybot and AdAware.
Defrag your HD reboot and then run 05.

If your score is the same then you have driver or component issues and we can go through that.

Yeah, that's pretty low. Mines almost 2000 higher.

Assuming he is not overclocking, your CPU is much faster than his, and he only has a gig of RAM.

2 gigs will hurt your 3bMark score, mine was run with only 1 gig. Processor doesn't make a 1000 point diffrence.

i have been running 3dmark tests, and every time i have gotten around 6500, so is this what i should be getting?

yea, i only got like 7860 on it. but i just got my computer yesterday, and i'm not sure that i have everything installed, and installed properly. any tips or help would be great.

Make sure your chipset drivers are updated, and your video drivers too. When I got my computer, I had OLD video drivers, like 66. something, I updated to 77.72 and my score went up almost 1000.
