Did my first VOIP session this evening.

And, as luck would have it, the rest of the squad were all German. The Squad talk sort of went like this:

German1: ichbineinenklaustrassekompffiggetzein.... SCHEISSE...
Me: What?
German2: fitzenstangenrotenhomseinemheine Commander kaput... krankenhaus UAV...
Me: What?
German3: titzenscheildersoldatfeigtezen einen SCHEISSE KOPF
Me: What?
German1: SCHNELL SCHNELL SCHNELL
Me: aha, I got you now, that was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. ot means "Quick... fast... yesterday soldier!"
German1: What?

I could have potentially found another server but several layers of geological strata had formed trying to find one, but...

I can generally sort of understand german...but I agree, German BF2 players tend to shout rather too much. I can't make out anything except muffled, distorted vaguely-german-words.

And this on an official EA UK server! Is it too much to ask that country-specific servers feature people from that country?

Man i feel your pain, i am forced to play on EA DE servers cause my isp
got ****ty and now i have 250+ ping to any EA\UK servers, and the
two israeli servers got the worst, ever, players i've ever seen so i can't
play on them either.
