What? A hobby player can easily pick up the basic medals. If it was damn easy to get expert medals there wouldn't be any point, would there?

It provides diversity in people's medal collection, so it's not just "oh, another player with every medal in the game, along with everyone else".

You are absolutely right, but I thik the standars are still too high and it shoudn't be related with time BUT kills !! A good driver kills much faster and he deserves the badge not the one that 'lames' 100 hours and more...

You are absolutely right, but I thik the standars are still too high and it shoudn't be related with time BUT kills !! A good driver kills much faster and he deserves the badge not the one that 'lames' 100 hours and more...

These time requiremants is just stupid, why dont they say "ok Veteran heli badge 1000 kills with heli, for expert 10.000" what if I sit in a heli for 100hours and dont even know how to fly it??!?!.... naaah its pretty f*cked up I can tell ya!!

Time is MUCH easier to obtain than 10,000 kills in a helicopter . . . what the hell are you smokin'?

in a way the badges and other stuff and there time requirements are stupid, but now since patch 1.03 it's perfectly possible for a player who just plays once in a while to get some veteran badges, and in a way it's perfectly normal that the pro players just get some more stuff, it's like this in real life to

Im getting really tired of the 'hobby' - 'dont have enough time' players who complain continually about the time requirements and points needed for awards.

Your a hobby player, so as a hobby player you can only get so far in the game. A dedicated player will hit the required time levels to get those veteran, expert badges.

You all had a teary about how high the point requirements where for ranks, so they dropped them to more than half of their original requirement... it was originally 250hours and 20 kills for veteran badges... now its 15hours and 20kills... This annoyed me with 1.03 patch, but i accepted it because i can get a couple more veteran badges as i do variate my playing style on the occasion. But come on expert badges are that, for Expert/Dedicated Players who play a specific role continually in bf2 online and are good at it or at least put the time and effort into clocking the hours & kills.

Why do all 'hobby' - 'dont have time for bf2' players have to have everything? I mean your not playing it seriously, or dedicating any time to the game... why should you need those badges? If you 'NEED' them.. then dedicate more time to getting them.

You dont have more time you say, it should all be handed to me on a silver platter for my liking because i have so much else to do in life. Well son make a choice, your either a dedicated player or not. The badges/awards are designed to reflect your commitment to the game. Committed players have more badges, awards, points... Hobby players dont. End of story :)
