Re: mouse optical or not
You guys... Optical mouses work like this: LED bouncing back data at millions of cycles a second and and that data is recorded as a high resolution image by a camera. The camera sends the tiny changes in the surface image below the mouse (fine movements) as pictures to the computer. The comptuer interprets these changes and makes the cursor move smoothly.
Except the Logitech laser mouse, which is self-explanatory.
