Well, the problem with helmets/hats (engies and spec ops have hats) is they don't do anything to stop a bullet. I snipe people in the helmet and they die. It's just for looks. Anyways, Support, Anti-tank, and Assault have better body armor, it takes 33% of the damage done to you away. So if you were hit with one M16 bullet when you were let's say support, you would take 20 damage instead of 30.
