Im having problems trying to make my map run. Ive followed the tutorials on PlanetBattlefield yet whenever I load the map it gets to the join game part and when I click the button BF2 just crashes without any error message. I know this is rather vague, but Im a bit stumped for what things I can try to fix it. if anyone can suggest some things I can try to get it to load properly it would be much appreciated :)

My 1st attempt worked eventually but that was giving me errors to work with (had something to do with the overgrowth), however every other attempt just wont work. I guessing it has something to do with what stuff you select to save when you click on save all.Comment

Given it a try with medium terrain and it loads now, thanks. Is there a reason why it only loads with medium or higher terrain though? Seems bit odd making a map that doesnt run in low detail :)Comment

Yea, try to delete all files you might have in the overgrowth folder if you have one. Take backup before though. It helped me once.Originally posted by spikersMy 1st attempt worked eventually but that was giving me errors to work with (had something to do with the overgrowth), however every other attempt just wont work. For some reason, the editor also doesent put the undergrowth.cfg and undergrowth.raw files into the CLIENT archive.
Same with ambientObjects.con file that has to go into the SERVER archive.
To get the error message, you might wanna try to run the game in windowed mode. Make a shortcut on the desktop that has this target property:
"C:\Program files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 0"Comment
