    Recommended Settings ( sorry i am a noob)

    Hey guys well my friend just built me a new computer and here r the specs:

    amd 64 3000 venice
    dfi lanparty sli dr
    sapphire ati radeon x800 256mb 256 bit gddr3 pci express
    ocz 512mb 2-3-3-8
    fortron 500 watt power supply unit.

    i've been seein on the forums that i need 1gb of ram to run the game good, but how will the game run with 512mb with my current setup? thank you for ur help.

    It wil run with all on Medium settings, or should. Yes, that will be your pc's only downfall, so when you can, get another 512 Mb and you'll be set. :)

    BUt nice pc, appart from the lack of RAM.

        You will be able to play with 512, bu tit will be limiting.

              Just out of curiosity, why do you have a ati x800 w/ a nforce chipset mobo?

                      No worries... I was just saying what happens if you want to utilize your mobo (SLi)? Then you'll have to buy 2 Nvidia cards. That's all.

                        No worries... I was just saying what happens if you want to utilize your mobo (SLi)? Then you'll have to buy 2 Nvidia cards. That's all.

                          Oh ok so for example like 2 6600 gt's or 2 6800 or 7800? lol i've been doin my readin at tomshardware nice site for people who want to learn more bout PC's.

                              Exactly... but since you have a ATi video card, you'll have to buy 2 identical Nvidia cards. What you should've done is bought a SLi ready card (6800 or 7800) and later on if you want to upgrade, pair it up w/ that same card.
