Apologies if this has been posted before. This is from the following source, which has bits for sticking in filters for 1.03 and Wake island.

heres another way to auto logon, if the filters.txt scares you go Tools > options > games tab > click on the battlefield 2 link, the programme location text box should highlight on the side of the pane, then just append the +playerName YourAccountNameHere +playerPassword YourPasswordHere to the end of it.

I tried it and it works hurrah, no more pis hy in game 'powered by Gayspy' Browser!
