Basic Knife Combat Badge NOT needed for Sergeant Major

Just noticed this and was quite surprised. Seems kind of stupid to me that you need the badge for 1st sergeant but not for the higher rank.

Actually you don't need most of the badges for Sargeant Major BUT i havent quite narrowed down which ones you actually require yet. http://bf2s.com/player/44030986/

As you can see that player is missing some basic combat badges (support) as well as quite a few others. Its not me BTW just a random player to show what i talking about.

A good friend of mine also got promoted straight from Master Gunnery Sarge>Sargeant Major when he got his "basic transport badge" (but is still missing "basic command") So the only badge i am 100% sure you require for Sargeant Major is "transport"

Pages like Ubar are not 100% correct don't forget, the are "guessing" as much as we are, they just have better databases for comparing their guesses

Yeah but who actually uses a parachute for long enough to get that ribbon in normal play? 10 seconds?? you either have to be a crap pilot that gets lost above the flight ceiling OR specifically waste a plane or heli to "cheat" and get it (by flying high and bailing)

I actually havent got that ribbon either, as i keep hoping they will change it to say "10 parachute jumps IAR" or something better that is achievable in the game without exploiting for it

Meh, cmon its just to fly straight up and bail... You will still get your plane when it spawns....
