Server Browser - What's the ( ) Mean

As the subject says, in the number of players column in the multiplayer server browser, what does the number in parenthese mean.

For example,

45 of 64 (5)

So this is why I can't get in to some servers as in this example?

There are no slots, as the size of the server to the public is actually 30?

Yes that is reserved slots and was added in version 1.03
So if you see a 64 player server that says " 60/64 (4) " then it means that server is full and you cannot join unless your PID is on the server's reserved slots list. Server's usually employ these limits for poplar servers so that those that donate towards the server fund can always play no matter how busy it is.

It was put in to stop admins from booting people so they can get clan mates and so forth in. Good idea really
