Hit indicator while sniping

Hey guys I've noticed that when I'm sniping in multiplayer that whenever I hit someone the little yellow hit indicator doesn't pop up, even when i kill them. I didn't really notice this until I played single player and I had one there. Does everyone else have a hit indicator when you guys are sniping, and does anyone know a way to get mine to work? It works with all other guns and I've tested that I don't get a hit indicator while sniping on any server. I even reinstalled BF2 and repatched and everything.

It's a bug in the game. I have that problem too. I only know that I hit someone when I get a kill assist message afterwards.

I get the little X when i hit someone with the sniper.

Crap, lol so I guess I'll be waiting another couple of months for this to hopefully big fixed. It would make sniping a lot easier because I really don't know how far ahead or above or right on the person I need to shoot to hit them. I know when they are still it's easy pickins it's just really hard when they're not still.

Yea, my hit indicator is rly buggy now too.
