Not true. This forum is much worse than other BF2 forums i've visited. All forums have some whiners. This one, it seems, is run by them. Try going anywhere else but the General forum. They actually laugh at more than half the posts here, and not without good reason...

I would have to say there were at least just as many bugs, probably quite a bit more, in the previous titles. Plus it seems a bit early to compare unless EA & Dice have finished patching BF2.

How do you figure? They nerfed the blackhawk (whiner requested)
They made it harder to farm points (ranked community requested)
They made it easier for mods to work (mod community requested)
They added a map (freebie)
They tweaked the browser (everybody requested)
Lets see, What they still need to work on

The server filters
I am sure there are a few other actual bugs. As for gameplay tweaks everything seems ok to me.

BF2 is not a "bit worse". It is about average as far as bugs go. Gameplay tweaks are better left to the mods because what you might think is fun I might find annoying. There will always be those that complain about something.

they nerfed the BH, but it's still extremely powerfull.
they tweaked the browser, but now it doesn't work good anymore, filters don't work, gets stuck, .... much more reports of problems with the browser now.


And BF1942 or vietnam had less bugs, I can tell you that, I played both from the very first day they came out. what you do had with those versions where a lot of glitches in maps, bad textures, netcode missed sometimes, .... but no crashes of the game and an ingame browser who was fast, effective and with filters that worked

Are you saying they still need to nerf the bh more?
The browser works great for me now. I can refresh, filter (as long as I don't use more then six), and update without problem. The addition of favorites and last visited server list is a great addition.

I still disagree that '42 and Vietnam had less bugs (that includes gameplay, graphics, map glitches, and netcode). Feel free to prove otherwise.

i never really played BFV, but i was just wondering was the community this bad bout all the bitching and moaning and whinning bout the patches EA released or the lack of for BFV like they are now with BF2.

Maybe its because of all the hype they say theres gonna be this & this in the game and then its taken out . I got the demo the day it came out and in the demo the commander got points for artillary kills sf got points for destroying commanders assets. Then i got the game the first day it came out and there was none of that and only recently since the 1.03 patch sf now gets points for destroying commanders assets.

Its like when you go to the pictures and you see all the adverts for what looks like an awsome film and then you go watch it and find out that all the best bits were in the adverts but the actual films is complete crap. Now if you take that and compare it to a game were you play it over and over again and you get possibly hundreds & hundreds of hours of time spent onit instead of couple like a film. It just aggrevates the situation espeacialy if you add a forum into the mix were people get to voice there oppinion unlike with most films.

When i first got this game i felt so let down i was actually expecting a cross between Americas Army & Battlefeild 1942 and you dont realy get any of that in game . Although as time has passed i have grown to realy realy love this game even though the weapons are crap compared to AA for accuracey and power and the games buggy as hell ive got used to it and just push on and deal with it.

BF:V has no major bugs, but its as biased to helicopters and planes as BF2 is biased to planes itself.

I thought forums are a make-work project for people that work from home? Strange people get paid by the competition to complain about games they have never played?
