1st sgt gitch??

yes - I read some earlier posts on this
but
guess I am still confused after reading all them
when I came back from 3 weeks of travel
played a few games with v1.02
got bumped to 1st sgt
(had about 26,000 pts when I left)
and then loaded 1.03
could not join any game - said bad version
so had to un-install, then re-install
then got bumped only to Master Sgt??
noted I never got knife or pistol or ordinance badges
was about to risk k/d for these
then found these posts about needing badges before you get the total points?
so......
is it too late to get 1st sgt? or not?
and I do not plan on going for 50,000 pts
I do this bf2 enough as it is

for what i know, yes. it's too late.

I too, got cheated. I'm a Master Sgt when I should have been first. Oh well.

26,000 is nowhere near 1st Sgt with 1.02. You got Sergeant with 25,000, which is 3 ranks away from 1st Sgt.

Are you sure it was First Sergeant? Like DLWeb said, 26k points wasn't even close in 1.02.
