Can the message from BF2 at launch of game be disabled?

You know the box we have to close to continue from start that has 1.3 info.

I'm assuming that is what is keeping the game launchers I use from auto launching me onto a server.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I hope so, it's realy lame from EA to give us suck a crap in our game, they better make the game bug free first instead of putting crap in it

Nope. DiCE updated the game so that you could log directly into the game without having to log in with your account first. The message doesn't do anything, people just presumed that it broke the 3rd party software as that's what it looked like :)

ASE and Xfire have yet to update their browsers to make it work with BF2

        BF2 Autoloader (free) works fine.

There are fixes for both ASE and Xfire though that can be found on these forums. They were found by BF2 fans and just involve a small change (at least in the case of ASE).

I got my X-Fire to work. Found this on their forums.
          http://www.xfire.com/xf/modules.php?...ght=1+03+patch

GameSpy still won't work for me.

Oh well good luck with it.

          Thanks for that info ptegan.

Xfire, ASEYE and BFloader all skip the login and messege box!
