Question About Ranks

Hey all, its your local newbie again. Remember me from yesterday?

Well, I played some more last nite, starting to like it more and more. Starting to HATE Artillery more and more. :p

I did ok last nite I think for my second nite, finished in the middle somewhere in almost all my matches.

Anyways...the reason for the thread was to ask about ranks. I figured for sure I woulda ranked up to Rank 2 last nite...but I didnt. My buddy said he thought you ranked up at 150 points. Well, I ended up with 167 total, and still no rank. Is it maybe 175 for rank 2?

Is there any site/resource I can go check that has this info on it?

why don't you check the sticky at top of page?

You know the one that says 1.03 Ribbons/Badges/Medals/Ranks changes

Ok, checked it, thanks.

That brings up the next question...how come I didnt rank up?

Do ranks only go up once a day/week or something like that?


According to the link you sent me...my buddy was right, 150 is needed to rank up. I have 167 total.

I was just wondering how the system worked in regards to when it actually processed and gave people their new ranks.

the server you were on might not be updating that fast , but most probably when you play today , the first point you get , you will be promoted.

Better place to look: http://www.totalbf2.com/strategy/ranks/

It sometimes takes signing off and signing back on for your rank to get refreshed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you get a weapon unlock until Lance Corporal. Check at BFHQ tab for your rank change next time you start to play.
