digital Anarchy server *ranked* issues
I don't really know / care if the dA people post / read these forums but I figured I'd hit you all up and let you know what was going on when I was there. Mind you this is not the first time that I have played on this server by any means.
Late tonight I was playing away on the server and was sitting gunner for one of the members of the clan. The guy was pretty chill and we talking over VOIP, he had asked why I hadnt joined the clan yet, long and short I had my computer go out on me and never really had much of a opp to finish the conversation.
So a hour or two later I'm back on the server after getting everything in running order again, playing with a few different guys, but on the opposing side. One of the dA members was camped on the Sharqi south base spawn camping the crap outta us. Instead of bitching about it, I decide to pull out my m95 and do something about it, well it was chopper 3 me 0 when i finally pulled off my head shot and smiled to myself knowing that I had made the world a better place.
No sooner do I jump into my new prize as I see in GREEN across my chat box, Kicking Narynan to make room for an admin. Well long and short of it, I jump onto their TeamSpeak server that is open and available through their website http://na.q2o.net/ . I was talking to a few of the guys, and the guy who I popped in the noggin asked if I had coinsidered joining. I said I had and left it at that. At this point he informs me that there is a 10 dollar a month fee to be in the guild as the server they run is not free and I would be REQUIRED to pay for it. While that IS understandable, I said that for 10 bucks a month I could go play Everquest.
Well needless to say that I then got kicked from the TS server. By dA| illusion, they same guy who kicked me for the headshot. Sooooo, back onto the server I go. Because I dont really care about clan politics or whatever else is going on, for me its a good low ping server and it runs well. So when I get back onto the game I asked why I was kicked from the TS server. I was told that I needed to go play everquest and got kicked again from the server. All because I dont wanna pay to play my games after I buy them.
Alas, it's not going to stop me from playing on the server if I can ever get back on, (can they perm ban you) and maybe get a couple more head shots in.
I just wanted to get the word out on this dA| illusion guy, not as though you'll see him anywhere other than where he can admin his server and call the shots. But I just wanted to give you the heads up about the server next time you're rolling though your choices.
