Many people struggle with killing with the knife. Imagine the keyboard combo controls you'd need to successfully murder using:

    A knife
    A saw
    A toothpick
    A pair of scissors
A thing nobody knows what does
    A screwdriver (flat)
    A screwdriver (pivoted)
    A wrench
A key to a safebox in Berne where stolen Nazi-art can be obtained.
    A pair of tweezers

I have enough trouble assigning simple keys without being reminded that "boat" conflicts with "helicopter". Everytime that crap pops up I'm assuming BF2 thinks I'm building one of those swamp contraptions we all saw as kids on the various "Gentle Ben" episodes.

Sadly their army is well trained and equipted isnt it.

Its their politicians who had the smart not to follow the Americans into war, which wasnt based on true facts.

        THEY are the smart ones.

Sure, lets put in the UK Army with their never Working not even hitting a basket of Air SA80/L85 Rifle.

I'd like more some Army Divisions like US Navy, USMC, US Air Force and so on
No Canada doesn't have a Core of soldiers like the did in WW2 and WW1. Instead their military power comes in development of weapons.

if their trying to use past and present "modern" military powers ... i suppose russia would be a good choice... *maybe* germany (werent they in 1942?).... and i guess japan (1942 definetly).

but canada and britian??? they dont do anything without the backing of the US today... and military wise, i dont think they have since world war 2... canada prolly earlier.

ill have to agree with HF_Martini6, the US military are the only ones today that are diverse enough in their technology and tactics to actually have military foces that act differently. it would be pretty cool to see the US vs the US in some cases... tho i doubt anything like that would ever happen.
You'd better rethink that. Its a well known fact the U.S gets the latest in guidance systems and long range bombardment aswell as other military technologies FROM: Canada, and Israel.

Without Canadian military technology, the U.S would still have ****ty missles that couldn't bullseye a 2 Meter wide target at a range of 800 Miles.

You guys all need to chill out in here, and stop talking about each others countries and talk about your own. If this continues, this thread is going to get locked.

                  Re: Divions of army

Canada, England, and Australia have helped the US in every major conflict we've been in since WWI. Now "major conflict" may be up for debate, but the bottom line is that those three countries are our closest, most trusted allies. IN FACT, if I remember correctly, the next ESG (Expeditionary Strike Group) to leave the east coast will be led by an Australian Admiral. How nuts is that? 5000 US sailors and Marines led by an Aussie.

So Canada, you r0x0rs less than the US, but you still r0x0rs!

                    Re: Divions of army

Id like to see a Canadian army and Britian. Like not serperate. Like Mec could have 3 divions Iraq Iran Egypt. US could have Canada and UK. China could have north korea ect. Any1 else like this idea. Because when it comes to war US usally helps Canada and Canada helps too. Our JTF2 is one of the best special forces in the world. Right up there with SEALS and SAS. I thought it was just a thought cause it would be nice to fight for your country..
First off, Iraq and Eygpt are not likley to fight the US, Britian, or Canada. Sudan, Syria, and Iran would probably better choices I think. Second, I don't really like the idea of adding Canada and Britian because they made the Middle Easter Coalition a COALITION for a reason. Even if one of those Middle Easter Coalition countries were to buy better training for its troops and better weaponry, the USMC would still likley wip their butts just because they outnumbered them. Now imagine if they also had a bunch of other English speaking countries to back them up!

Now to let off some steam, please note your post (thread starter) didn't trigger the emotions I'm about to vent. This just seemed like the most appropriate thread:

I'm getting kind of sick of this constant demand for Australia, Britian, Canada, etc in this game. I mean, no offense, but people say AMERICANS are arrogant while small European countries demand they be put in the game just because they want to play as their own nationalities? Americans helped out in North Africa in WWII(though they were not the main fighting force), but I didn't see any Americans say "Hey, where are we in BF1942 in those North Africa maps!? We helped in North Africa!" Americans got into this game because the US is a military super power (as was Britian IN WORLD WAR 2). Now the UK is getting in while countries like India (which has 1 billion people) still aren't in this game? We never said "Why did they have to make James Bond British!? I want the main character to be from the CIA next movie! I'm going to start a riot!" (not that this is the tone of your post), and when SF comes out, I doubt you'll see many "SEALS 24/7 servers". I do, however, seeing the attitude of a lot of British people on other (note I say "other") forums think we will see plenty of "SAS 24/7" servers.

                    Okay...err...sorry about that.

EDIT: Oh, sorry, just read the responses, now I see why people think Americans are arrogant...

EDITED AGAIN: Just to add to what I said above, that doesn't mean I'm not wondering why everyone else isn't considered arrogant too, both because of the points I made in the rant above and the comments I've seen in this thread.

Not a certian country is ignorant. That would be sterotyping, anyone can be ignorant as individuals. Not from the country you live in. I would like to see many countrys so you can play as the country you live in. I just thought it would make the game more fun in my opinion.

And also the JTF2 (Canadian Spec forces) are 2nd or 3rd in the world, in training weapons and operations SAS is first i know that (gj UK). Also a guy from Newfoundland holds the record for longest sniper shot confirmed kill.

                          Re: Divions of army

I'm not saying any countries are arrogant/ignorant as a whole...I'm just saying how they are/could be thought of by those who do stereotype.

And I do think it would make the game more fun to have more armies, but to be honest I can't see some people's obsession with playing as their own countries because I honestly have just as much fun playing Americans as I do MEC or Chinese.

As I said, I think they should atleast put India in this game before the UK/Canada/Australia, etc. If you were to have some kind of common wealth's coalition, I'd be more opened to that. But the UK or Canada alone aren't really in league with China or the US. (I don't know about the MEC because we don't know how many countries they contain).

Also, countries like Canada backed out of Iraq, so we don't know they would help the US in the conflict with MEC.
