ESc the main menu...

anyone ever hit this button and have to wait a few seconds for the menu to load. I hate that, when i dont mean to press the button and i am in combat its deadly. I wish it dident take forever to load,.

I mean if they dident have all that moving image background and fancy looking text it would load fast, or better yet a sub menu that would ask for the defalt option like quit, resume, disconnect, and some others but not the main menu.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I'm in the heat of battle when I accidentally push the button with the Window on it. I hate it when that happens!

Get an attention span.
I remember when games took 30-40 MINUTES to load. And half the time they crashed.
20 seconds won't kill you.

You can delete that moving background by going to your C:\Program files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies folder, and removing the menu.bik and menu_loggedin.bik files.
However, it doesn't make the Escape process much faster..

Not only is it slow to load but you can't press escape again to get back in, you have to wait another few seconds before you can press it again :|

30-40 minutes!? Are you on crack dude, not even my Commodore64 tape station loaded that slow!

Only thing that resembles such times are Championship Manager, I remember it took almost an hour to start a new game (loading a game was fast though).
