Ask this to the people who run out in front of your plane in jealousy.

Im just like WTF!! everytime. Im sure this is very common when people just cant live without a freakin MiG.

anywayz, someone work on a slap mod. So we can jump out of the plane and slap the fool who ran in front of us lol. Just a thought.

Think with 1.03 when planes run over a team mate it no longer counts as teamkill, since its very rare anyone would, or has the skill, to road a teammate because he wanted to team kill.

So if anyone is stil doing it, hes an idiot.

wake island is the worst for it.

i remember once at the start of the map everyone rushed to the plane, and the guy who got in it had at least 5 guys standing in front of him, including 2 jeeps.

Yeah, wake's the worst. I spawned once and ran for the plane, only to see a spec ops drop c4 riiight in the middle of the runway 100ft away. I considered getting out and pre-emptive tking him, but I decided against it and turned left, taking off along the grass while trying to avoid trees and bunkers :)

I remember the old Wake Island.. Wasn't quite so crazy for a vehicle back then.. If you got one, bonus, but with the way the carrier could be sunk, you didn't want to put all your eggs in the one basket, and wait for it to be sunk to the bottom of the ocean, then have yourself DROWN to death in the middle of nowhere...

But now, with the carrier being an uncappable, indestructible flag, it just becomes really difficult to keep people from acting that way on the map.. Ninety percent of the firepower on the map can be attributed to air vehicles, either heli, or plane. So when somebody wants to improve their score, they run straight for the nearest plane or helicopter, and decide to screw over anybody who wants to take it instead of them. It's counter-productive, but they still do it because smacktards just *EXIST* for no other reason than to drive people crazy..

It's rather interesting in the respect that while sometimes people scramble for fighter jets and whatnot, on some maps they're TOTALLY ignored.

I wish there was some way to put a very discerning value upon VALUABLE pilots, and have them distributed evenly over the two teams.. Because there isn't any kind of balance for that... Hell, sometimes I wish the only people who could fly planes are those that are marked as valuable, because they're such a limited resource, which is only really helpful in the hands of an expert..

I mean, sometimes I wish there was some kind of highly demanding obstacle course for pilots in the single player version of the game which marked them as an able pilot, with bombs, guns and evasion. Because as it stands all you get in the air are newbie, hardheaded players who just want their crude kicks of being behind the controls of a jet plane, that can't really be heavily shot at by anything on the ground...

That said... I have to go practice my own gunnery skills somewhere.. I'm never able to shoot down enemy crafts with the machinegun, so I might as well find out how to correctly lead an enemy craft. *Goes off to practice*
