Re: go ahead rub it in

actually, bunny hopping was originally a term to describe the act of jumping repeatedly to gain momentum or height. in the quake series, and in later games like pain killer, you could repeatedly jump, gaining access to places that before were out of the way.

what people do in bf2 is not bunny-hopping, it is retardation. they don't realise that it is easier for me to drop to a knee, and ironsight them, then it is for them to bunny hop. but, that is why i am at the top of the scoreboard and they are not :P

thank god most of you apparently didn't play UT99 :)

Its an arcade game, not RL. Bunny hopping is part of it. My clan got its roots in an old UT99 mod made to compete with CS, TacticalOps. We still play and war the game...Imagine CS with the bunny hopping from UT99 :) :)

All you 'reality freaks' are just using that as an excuse to cover up a lack of skill (imho)
How the hell is it a measure of skill to jump continually?

To be honest, I know how to counter bunny hopping. What ****es me off is when I come around a corner and a guy jumps OVER my head. Any realistic jump and I would destroy most people. . . but they jump RIGHT over my head. that's just stupid. They need to lower the jumping height. . .or do a half life thing where you jump and then duck to pull your feet up so you can jump over things.
