Custom Map Problems

Is anyone else having trouble with custom maps?

Any ideas on how to fix mine?

I can run BF Nights. Other than that, every custom map I have loaded crashes to desk. At the same time. After all is loaded and it goes to the "verify client data" screen it dies.

It sounds like some are aware of a problem and are working on it, and others aren't really complaining, which makes me think they aren't having problems.

I've tried different graphic settings.

Apparently, all the custom maps are for multiplayers, and sadly none are for singleplayer, this is why they crash. And no servers host these maps!!
They should edit these maps for singleplayer really as loads of people would like to play them...

I know you mentioned that you played with gfx settings but it's the only thing I know that crashes ALL custom maps. the gfx settings must be at medium if it's crashing for you.

There may be a thread on this in the mapping forum I think...

Ah hah! You were right. You have to do multi player.

No bot support. And all I wanted to do was look at a custom map.

So, now I can get a look at all these custom maps like Lost Village, and El Alamein.
