Daemon tools and 1.03 CTD problem?

Here's the deal I've been playing BF2 since release i have a legit copy and my dvd drive died on me a month ago! Lucky for me i had backed up my copy of BF2 on my hard drive for quicker install and since putting the 1.03 patch on i can play online for about five mins and then CTD so tried all the listed sollutions for the CTD problems everyone else was having as i thought it was the patch and still the same problem!!!!

Does anyone know if EA has put some codeing into there servers to stop people playing with emulation software as this is the only way I can play and has anyone else been having this problem?

My system is more then enough to play the game and it runs fine up until it just CTD's

Probably something to do with the new encryption system that 1.03 employs

interesting... dispite all the constant connection probs and ping spkies Daemon tools work fine here.

Daemon tools works fine for me w/1.03 as it has w/previous versions. Turn off all the emulation options though.

I thing that have to do with ur patch file... seek for another mirror and dload n install it again... (ofcuz u have to uninstall every thing... game).
