I cannot tell you how annoyed I am with the 'team vehicle damage' penalties from blowing up the enemy's commander assets.
This happens over and over again when we cap the enemy home base with the stuff in it. Those items end up getting repaired later in the round, and I blow them up again. I get penalized each time after that when I blow up their commander stuff. Even after they take that base back over.
Yes, before someone asks - I looked at the flag on it - and it was MEC stuff.
Perfect examples - happened to me last night again - on Kubra Dam and Operation Clean Sweep.
My guess as to how it happens:
I blow up the assets before we take over the Airfield (Kubra Dam example), then we cap the airfield. Those items get repaired or rebuilt as we own the airfield - tagging them as US. For what reason I have no idea.
I blow them up again - team damage. They take that base back and repair again. I blow them up after they repaired them when they owned the base. They are still tagged somehow to US and I get team damage still. They are tainted the rest of the round, no matter how many times I blow them up.
