Any weapons changes planned??

Does anyone know if they plan on making any weapons changes in upcoming patches? I would like to see more choices as you move up in rank. Sort of pick from some kind of armoury to allow for unique player customization. Sort of like an Ultima Online or Everquest, but without all the different classes. You get to pick specific elements of your kit, ie you pick your weapons. Just a thought, but I would like to see a laser sight system on the G36 since it comes that way in the real world. Plus the Ak47 and M14 both have them why not G36. Any input or info is appreciated

Haven't heard that they are going to add anything to the weapons for different classes. However, I can see them adding new vehicles and what not in future patches. But here is to hoping.

I have no idea about changes but I would like to see more choices esp. with the new expansion pack, like the Sptesnaz getting new weapons, but for unlocks a P-90 for the AT class would be nice and a MK. 23 for a pistol upgrade. In the Rainbow Six series, before it was ruined when it went to the consoles, you could change the entire load out down to the armor. But I would like to see attachmennts be able to be unlocked for classes if you get the expert badges in the class, or some thing for getting the medals and ribbons, it would give an incentive to getting the other awards.

No really I dont think they will ever do that for BF2 since they can just use their resources to create expansion packs that will make them money.

There is nothing wrong with the M95 atm -- people keep trying to treat this like the USMC M24 which is more of a 'headshot' sniper whereas the M95 is more of a 'rip your torso in half' weapon.

As for P90 on the AT that would rock =)

One cool idea I've seen was in the Battlefield 2 for the PS2. Apparently snipers had a laser designator attached to their scope that could call in a cruise missile on an armorered target (correct me if I'm wrong). As cool as this would be, might not work for every situation or could be too powerful.

I have played BF2:MC the sniper class is over powered, the laser designator hits its target no matter where it is and all the snipers kill with one hit and are identical, but in the xbox version that is the class I play.

Truth.

And there were no changes made to any handheld weapon in the recent patch. They might make some in the future but I can almost guarantee they will NOT add any new weapons/vehicles in a patch.

The m95 needs less deviation, imho.
The g3 needs more ammo.
