some servers like to keep a clean environment. if you don't like it, play eslewhere. FWIW, the servers with rules tend to attract the more mature, team oriented players.

what a surprise! go figure. :)

I think they should remove the chat option all together. I can't remember the last time I read anything that was important to my gaming experience.

                Mostly just people talking trash.

Remove it. Then I wont have to worry about getting banned for telling someone to phuck off.

I don't see what the problem is when you just can't curse. Lack of profanity can't hinder intelligent communication. Infact, most of the time that's all profanity does.

But when you get kicked for saying cockpit, that's when I think its time to rethink filters.

Bull. Why are people swearing if it's so mature and team oriented? It's because there's a bunch of moronic a holes playing there.

They should do what this message forum does, replace the offending word with *****s rather than an instant kick.

language filters on a kill and murder all that moves game. The very concept is pathetic.

What? I don't think so. Our server allows curses, but is kicking for racial slurs.

Over here in the UK, a local council couldn't send any email due to the fact of an over-zealous language filter. The town is called Scunthorpe. And no, I'm not kidding.
