I'll be in a spot, capping a flag, paranoid that an enemy is gonna spawn behnind.

I hear something, spin around, see somebody pointed right at me jumping to prone.

I pop off a burst with the pkm, oops, TK. If I'd paused to check tag and then fired, an enemy would've already killed me. It is really bad when it is a member of my squad who just spawned on my position, lol.

Lol, don't sneak up on me like that when i'm in paranoid cover the flag mode.

Just look at your mini map in the corner if you hear something,if its your team mate you'll see him if not then shoot

Or LOOK at the guy, you don't need the tag to know whether or not he is on your team, it is pretty easy to tell by their gear whether they are USMC or not.

Use your radar. Its there for that reason.

Hehe, yeah I also sometimes pop a squad member when he spawns on me, and I'm in a "nervous" position.

Looking at your minimap doesn't help; even if it's on maximum zoom you still can't see them cause the squad leader circle/icon covers them.

Worse than that, if they are right next to you their tag isn't visible (it's too high)....and invariably I just start shooting too.....oops my bad

Fair i have surprised many a squad leader in my day however i do try and alert them, sometimes this backfires and you will get shot somtimes but if its my squad leader then you must forgive (unless hes just an a$$hat).

Remember that squads are about teamwork and building a rapour with others so they will try their best to help you and the team when the need arrises, if you continually punish for this then you will just be kicked from the squad.


I love the squads in this game but finding one that acctually works well together with some cohession is a different matter, most squads start well then dissipate quickly, which is why sadly im mostly a lone wolf until someone has seen me and invites me to a squad (these are usually better than simply joining as being invited gives you the feeling from the start that the guy wants to work with you and would like to stick together).

Don't shoot unless you're sure it's a enemy; ala. not a friendly.

lol i did that the other day. a squad member spawned right next to me while i was prone capping a flag and luckly i only put a few bullet holes in them and didnt kill them.

lol.. especially if you are squad leader. For some reason it takes the green tags about 1.5 seconds to show up right when you see them. Its very easy to cap your own teammates. Is this a bug? Anyone else get this? Or sometimes when you round a corner it takes about 1.5 - 2 seconds to see the green tag and sometimes it shows up lower at first then adjust to over their head? Weird.....

i think its annoying that if your squad leader the game tends to always sapawn your squad members in front you. Since the patch this has happened alot to me. Bad way to tk someone.

yes but on the map, the squad leaders "bubble thingy" is larger then normal ppls, so if they are right next to you, you still wouldnt know. And who actually looks at the radar map when you are getting into a fire fight? Im not talking about looking for someone, but when youre actually firing at someone. Its impossible to look at both at the same time.

anyways, I have seen and enemy right in front of me, then a friendly right behind him, and get the tags mixed up, so when i think hes a friendly i get right next to him only for him to get the easy kill oh well.

Done that a few times myself, the DAO-12 dosent allow you to make much of a mistake when a squad mate spawn besides you Come on admit it everyone has Tk'd before due to being a little "jumpy" at an important flag

ype been therre my friend. esp round caps. looking at nametags or radrar is no good as by the time youve seen what you need your coud be dead!!!!

This time lapse in showing the team name is rally bugging me too esp in the air/long range. tsk!!
