    BF2 & Connection sharing

I have two computers running on my 2mb/256kps BT ADSL modem (i dont have a router) ,networked via two 100mbps LAN cards , i use Netlimiter bandwidth controller on the slave p.c and according to that the game is using very little bandwidth ,10kps down and 2kps up ,ive set it to allow the slave to use at max 50down 10up ,which seems ample for online gaming and both machines ping around 20-30 when on a server ,now the problem is when both computers are on a gaming server they both become very twichy, slight lag that lasts around a second or two, strange considering the low ping

Theres no problem when only one p.c is using the connection so it seems to me the connection sharing is causing the issue ,firewalls seem to be ok on both machines

So im not really sure how to fix it,anyone got any tips on connection sharing that could increase performance ?

Buy a router/switch not hub, they are cheap cheap $60 bucks at most for something decent.

I've had zero problems playing with 2 people online same room same server etc... 3000/384 cable

With 3 people the game is totally playable often times I get more lag playing by myself, but I don't have enough info to say with 3 it works just fine.

When we had a lan party we tried 5 people, that was poor with high lag and most servers should have kicked us with 4 people.

Maybe I have a great connection etc, I also have 384 compared to your 256 up. But I think if you bought a switch two people should be able to play no problem. You can also try to stay away from 64 player maps it might help.
