    78.05 beta drivers?

    after trying to optimize my pc for Black and White 2 (its got major probs with nvidia 6*00 range) i came across the 78.05 beta from nzone.... has anyone tried them out or is 77.77 still the better.... i have used them ingame and there arn't any bugs that i can see....

      Oh...where is it being discussed that BW2 has problems with nVidia 6XXX cards? I was a fan of the original and was GOING to buy this one...

      I'd like to find out more about this since I have a 6800GT

      Otherwise, I REALLY liked the 78.05 betas. 3D Mark 05 gave me an increased score over the previous official release drivers.

      I would still be using them if the xtreme-g drivers weren't being released

          I was currenty using the 77.77 with my 6600GT until I updated to the 78.01 last night...not sure what it's like yet though as I haven't tried it!

              yeah i'm mega pea ussed about BW2... freakin awesome graphics... its just that for some reason the 6xxx's get to a point then they just throw in the towel and chug along at below 10fps!!!!! almost unplayable in anygraphics mode (other than 1024x768 on low low off low etc)

              they released special drivers for the missing textures bug etc but they really dont help this problem - seems to be alot of people aching over it...
              looks like EB gets to have its game back. time to exchange it for a NON EA game lol

                  All my textures went really pale with the new drivers so I want back to the last proper release on the Nvidia site.

                      When I tried the beta 8x.xx it made BF2 run HORRIBLY. I would get 30 FPS on single player...and all my text is blurry. I went back to 78.01

                          Got 81.84 (Beta) on GF6800, no probs with BF2 yet.
