I see a lot of people talking about how teamwork is the key to victory. How can teamwork without skill lead to victory? That is my question. Can anyone answer it?
Does it just take Teamwork...or does there need to be skill?

Skill is nothing without teamwork and teamwork is nothing without skill. That's the way I see it anyway. -

skill is definetly an advantage. but if u have team work it is an advantage against loan soldiers. so yes team work is part of the key to victory. you also need a good commander.
ask your self whats better. 6 against one of 1 against 6?Comment

A skilled squad vs unskilled squad = who wins?
My question isn't about numbers, but teamwork and skill really.Comment

I think of it like many popular sports - you have playmakers, and you have teams that can capitalize on their moves. It takes both.Comment

you do still need skill to acheive victory, like today I had a mate driving a tank + top-side gunner, and i was in an APC driving behind him (like a convoy) , and we captured just about every flag, and pushed the oppisite team back to there last flag. So I think team-work with Skill will usaully win the day, but then again sometimes it doesnt.Comment

Re: Does it just take Teamwork...or does there need to be skill?
Teamwork can give you a huge advantage.
One example, is when a selfless squad leader becomes a spawn point near a flag. Another example is when somebody takes up a position and just puts a spot on enemy vehicles so that his air support knows exactly where to strike.
The best commanders are all about teamwork, keeping UAVs in the air, coordinating activity, resupplying. The worst I ever saw was a commander flying around in a jet
But, it is only a factor. Great teamwork amongst a bunch of people who can't shoot will only get you so far. You don't need superstars if you work well as a team, though.Comment

Re: Does it just take Teamwork...or does there need to be skill?
Teamwork is way more important than skill. Many times when I first started playing (I sucked) I would just follow my squad and hide whenever enemies showed up. I did not get many kills but I got lots of flags. Also, just spotting some enemies can make a world of difference and you don't need much skill to do that. Of course, a skilled squad that works as a team is much better but you don't find that every game.Comment

Depends on the amount of teamwork and amount of skill.Comment

The skilled squad is the most leathal weapon in the game. 6 Guys on a flag point that can repell the defenders is better than a skilled pilot, tanker, etc.Comment

I've been flying a lot lately but what I realy need is, spotting as you have already said but we need commanders to give Pilot squads, (or squads with a pilot) demolition (or attack w/e) orders so large groups of infantry can be taken down with bombs.Originally posted by BaronViolenceTeamwork can give you a huge advantage.

Also I would realy like to see some more squads using VOIP and instructing me where to bring down airstrikes!!!Comment

If you don't have skill there is no point being in a team but you need less skill in a team because if you don't kill them the other 5 people behind you will and then revive you.Comment

think of it this way, one team has a bunch of good un-oragnized players who run around alone, and another team has a bunch of semi good players who are using voip, moving as a squad, and working together in all aspects.Comment

I think that would be a toss up. However, if there is just one skilled squad that is capping flags, that team will win 9/10 times.Originally posted by VeNg3nCe^think of it this way, one team has a bunch of good un-oragnized players who run around alone, and another team has a bunch of semi good players who are using voip, moving as a squad, and working together in all aspects.Comment
