    Frame drop?

Since I installed the latest patch,I have noticed that something is wrong.Well my eyes started to hurt when I am in close combat.Finaly I decided to check fps and have noticed significant drop.My average fps was 50 and now it droped down to 20-30.I'm playing on high settings all accept textures-medium.
    My rig:
    Intel 3.0GHz
    Asus P4P800-e deluxe
    2x1Gb Corasair DDR 400 (2-2-2-5)
    MSI 6800LE (moded)
    Creative Audigy 2
    etc
Win XP pro + service pack too.
Now I realy do not need any help (I can always loose settings) but I wonder did anybody noticed frame drop.

You have virtually all of the same system components i have and i get FPS drops after the patch as well. I think a lot of people are too.

        Re: Frame drop?

I have very smilar system and did not notice a frame drop, and I am using Fraps to measure.

Still getting around 40 to 60 fps (some times 80+) with most all settings on high except dynamic shadows and light. 1280X960

Go to www.tweakguides.com and follow his tweak guide for BF2 and NVidia video drivers. It helps nearly 20FPS.

Performance actually increased for me and went from good to great.
            Weird.
