Ok..so i kinda learned hwo to fly.

Ok Ok I bitched and moaned for a while about how any maps but urbans one sucked do to air/tank/heli superiority.

But i take it all back. I spent numerouse hours on singleplayer flying, and i can finally do it...somewhat.

My biggest gripe...I cant hit jeck$hit with my bombs. i see the box,triangle etc.. showing occupied vehicle and try to line the bombing half circle with them...I never ever hit. I dont know if Im short, long, off target but I never hit, I mean even with the bomber with 5 bombs..none ever hti there target for me. Any hints tips etc to clear this up or help me out.

Now for dogfighting...gimme a jet noob liek myself and Im good...line me up against a jet ace with a joystick..Im done. Its usually a few seconds of me pulling circles, going up down, barrel rolls...then bam im dead. Im sure it be easier if I had a joystick, maybe.

Heli flying (attack heli..BH is as easy as a tank) is easier then i thought. its all about the finger dance on the keys. Yet Im still terrible hitting with the missles I must admit. i mostly fly the heli to set up the gunner, which makes sense i guess.

But yeah, i just need any help or tips or whatever to help me get my bombs to actually hit.

Dive bomb! thats the only way I know how.

Just flank the tank it makes it easier to hit move the mouse one way and the keyboard another while traking the tank it takes some practice but racks up kills.

I'm sorry but i really can't help you with the jets but with the heli, it's great to hear you mainly set up the gunner. If you have a good gunner that is the best way to rack up kills and be effective. learn how to circle stafe in the heli. very effective and usefull move. Don't sit to low t the TV missile screeen won't be able to see anything and try to learn what that TV screen can actually see and the angles so you can set up your gunner a lot better.

When bombing you have to understand there is 2 ways of doing it.

One is dive bombing, as someone pointed out. The Other is carpet bombing.

Dive bombing is the most accurate while carpet bombing will probably do the most damage.

Dive bombing is pretty simple. Fly as high as you think is neccesary and dive to the ground. make sure your flying in a more or less straight line to the ground/flag whatever. When you reach a good distance from the ground, a distance you know you will be able to pull up from, release your bombs. try and keep your target just below or in front of the machine gun X on your HUD.

Carpet Bombing takes some getting used to as you have to basically guess the distance at which you drop your bombs. try and find a server with the battlefield recorder both on and working. Carpet bomb some targets and get a feel for the timing.

The way i do it is i drop my bombs a little before i reach the target. Sometimes i miss and sometimes i hit where i expect it to. its all about timing. if you bomb the same target from the same angle, you generally get a feel for when you should drop your bombs.

Iv recently learned a pretty good way to shoot down enemy planes. Follow your target until they are flying in a straight line, this may take some following. Remember to have your bombs equipped as this wont alert them to your presence. Once you are behind them quickly tap F or whatever way you switch to missiles and let off 1 or 2 missiles but as soon as you do switch back to bombs. Most times they are unaware you are there and will stay in a straight line for a few more seconds. this sometimes happens because they hear the quick chatter of the warning and it suddenly goes off. If you are close to them, sometimes the missiles will lock on in air and sometimes if your that close your missiles will automatically hit. Its worked for me even against some Ace pilots.
