Pretty cool idea, but i don't know how to mod.

Alright fellas, here's something that I came up with and think it's pretty sweet. A Navy SEAL team. No, not the expansion pack SEALs, good-looking SEALs. You'd be able to actually swim, but you'd have to select the SCUBA tanks from your kit (everybody would have SCUBA gear). Although the SCUBA tanks should last for a very long time, they won't be replenished until you get near the SEAL Delivery Vehicle (see pics below). And no bubbles on the surface, they are the rebreather contraptions.

The SEAL Delivery Vehicle should also seat a full squad and act as a supply drop as well.

It should also come with a smaller ZODIAC boat and the positions, instead of one on the machine gun and the rest crouching, they all lie prone except for the driver that steers the motor manually.

As long as the uniform goes, I could be just entirely coding. Boonie hats all around! You could make all of the kits have the Engineer uniform, or whatever.

And maybe, going back to good 'ole BF:V, how they were able to pick up boats and stuff, you could add it onto the Seahawk and they can pick up the Zodiac boat-full of SEALs. Then when the boat is pulled up close the the helo, the SEALs can get into the chopper, or not, whatever is possible. Also, putting more seats in the chopper would be swell. Maybe around 6 passengers, 2 mini-gunners, and the pilot

And maybe, this might be stretching it a little bit, but if you could make the medic's gun into an M4 with the M16 iron sights instead of the red dot, and the Assault kit's M16/M203 into an M4/M203. And, for the Support guys, instead of an M249 SAW, you could get BF:V's M60 and give that to the support guy. And for Anti-tank, let him keep his kit. Sniper: definitely an M14 with some kind of scope. Maybe not too far. I don't know about a ghillie suit, whatever looks best.

Last but not least, EA games definitely left out binoculars, so if those can be added, that'd be swell.

That's all i can really think of. If any of you guys have anything to add, please feel free. If all goes well, this will be a great mod.

    make these guys:

Divy these out between the SEALs (but maybe not the M16)

Here are some pics of the Seal Delivery Vehicle:

(you're going to have to scroll down and click on the links)

And if any of you guys can do these, it will be way better than that expansion pack coming out. And maybe there will finally be a use for BF:V!

I know that. Geez. What I meant was that since nobody really appreciated BF:V, this mod will put it to use. But whatever, off topic.

What are models? Again, i know nothing about modding so if you could be more specific, that'd be great.

the 3d models like a gun is made into a model and then skinned which means coloring it and making the graphics you actually see. then you put it into the Bf editor and put into a kit. at least thats the bare-bones version theres a LOT of imtermediate steps a long the way.

oh, is anyone good at these kind of things? can you do it FordMustang? Or even better, can you import weapons from BF:V into BF:2? like the CAR-15 and the M60?

hehe im not as good as some. i dont think you could import those weps, not sure, but you could just make a new model that looks a lot the same.

Nuts! How hard would it be to make those weapons and vehicles?

well since there is a lot of source material. easier than trying to model of some pics that might not be what you really want. So comparitavley yes its easy. but its still hard.
