Player criticism

I know this will probably start a flaming war, but dont you hate it when other players criticise your flying, driving etc for the littlest thing esp. accidents and LAG at every opportunity. I think its the height of cheek for a complete stranger to do this. Now I know Im a pretty good pilot/driver and i also know I f**k up sometimes and accidents do happen (strangely often with trees!!!). But you can guarantee that as soon as you're dead some idiot gunner tells you how sh*t you are and cant fly for sh*t and worse. Irritates the hell out of me.

It just seems that some people spend as much time criticising others and not fighting! Some people, eh!!!?!!!!

Heh, I had a medic in my squad criticize me for not picking up his kit and reviving him during a battle. Running out in front of a tank to swap kits with a dead medic and revive him isn't my idea of a good time. :)

hahah the only time i called a guy a nun is when he tried to fly. i was nice and was his gunner, assumung he practiced in a lan or SP or something. well he didnt and went upside down and crashed he said "wow im a n00b and i said "yes you are you n00b! i think ill fly next and u gun"

Its alright for people to refer to themselves as n00b, just not others :) Kinda like a few other words which I wont mention here....

Well you're always going to have idiots in servers with games like these. I always say f*** 'em and laugh at their angry asses.

I dont have a problem with other peoples skills as long as they dont consistantly try to 'practice' their skills in a ranked, pub server.

For example, i had a guy who was convinced he was going to get his first hours of flight training in a cobra in the middle of a full 64 player map. Now I didn't know it at the time so i gunned for him. But after 2 trys of trying to hit something with missles and flying right into the ground, I politely said "let me fly and you gun". Of course, like I said, his mind was already made up and continued to beat me to the chopper and pilot over and over (bad luck spawning) and it wasn't till the fourth time that I started to get a lil angry, especially as our team was getting raped by armor and the other attack chopper.

However, if they can fly even decently, then i never say a thing.

yeah i hate gunners who can't even fly and talk **** like there major genarals and then they try to fly and crash into the mosk tower.

Yeah it's pretty lame. But when the guy really does suck that's when I will TK him for the vehicle.

IMO there is no need for noobs in vehicles on ranked servers. Just as the highest rank gets commander the best pilot, tanker, whatever gets that vehicle.

I had to learn how to use Planes/Choppers on Pub ranked Servers. Granted, i could have tried the non ranked ones but im a point whore:p

i hate people who give me sh** for making mistakes. i must fly a plane 1 in every 40 games to try and learn and the second i get in one all you can hear is the pilots a noob why you flying a plane. my answer is im learning to fly it. i only ever fly one if its been empty for a while and if i see someone running up behind me to get the plane i turn around and join the fight another way. people really need to get some patience and manners. this is a game i play it to shoot people and talk to my mates not to get slated because i havent flown a plane for as long as them so im not as good in it.

The criticms you get I would understand. Although your critics may have not thought this way, but you could've practiced flying aircrafts by playing Operation Cleansweep in Single-player without your team having to suffer.

This reminds me of when I was playing Gulf of Oman and we all piled in a Blackhawk to start the game and the pilot was not capable,..at all...

It took us 2 minutes to get to shore, everyone in the blackhawk was yelling at the pilot to bail out so someone else could fly, we were being straffed right and left we had 2 engineers fixing constantly, by the time we got close to shore everyone bailed out at the same time, then we saw him crash into some trees. We all got a good laugh out of it, and we tried to protect the guy flying the rest of the game, we all took pity on him.

That's when I switch teams and hunt them...or if I can't switch teams I make his life miserable (read the Kill Tim Russert thread for some ideas).
