About the famous pistol/knife badge glitch ...

Im Gunnery Sergeant and I'm making for 1st sergeant.
I already have all basic badges BUT Expert knife and Veteran Pistol...
so I got basic pistol/knife before the 1.03 was released.
if I didnt earn basic and veteran at the same time, will I be promoted to 1st sgt wihtout problem or I have to re-earn the basic pistol/knife even if I have Vet. pistol and Xpert knife .?

im not 100% but as far as ive read if you got the veteran badge before you get the basic (ie you had 50 knife kills before you ever done 7 IAR to get basic). from what ive read if you done that then you will never get that promotion.

this is not fact as im peicing together from what ive read on these forums.

A clanmate of mine is Master Sergeant instead of 1st Sergeant because he got his basic and vet. knife badges at the same time (didn't get 7 in a round until after 50 total kills). A lot of people have complained about this bug, so if you didn't get your basic badge before you had 50 kills, then I think you'll just be a Master Sergeant :|: . If you got the basic before you had 50 total kills, then got the vet. and expert afterwards, you'll be 1st Sergeant.

HOWEVER! I think I got my vet. knife at the same time as my basic, but when I went for my expert, when I reached 7 kills in the round, it awarded me the basic badge again, and I think that may have fixed the glitch. So try getting your basic again and you'll find out when you reach 20k points

Did you get your basic pistol/knife before your veteran if so then you will be promoted,but if you got the veteran before basic then you will have the problem people are having
