lol...
Been playing CS since 1.4, BF since 42, didnt influx from anywhere. From what I read here and see in-game, I'd be more worried about the influx of 1st time or console gamers to BF2, lots of guys with no 42/BFv/DC exp. to relate things to...Comment

Exactly. A PC gamer is a PC gamer. I could make a case that the BF2 is just as immature as the CS community. It's just easier to spot in the CS community because its so much larger.Originally posted by The_Misfitlol...

And I'd argue that having the DoD community join the fun in BF2 is a good thing. Whenever I play that, it's usually the most respectful and teamwork-oriented people I've encountered in an online game.Comment

I've had CS:S installed on my drive since HL2 came out, never really played it, until recently. I find the weapons to be very refreshing to those in BF2, very gratifying to actually kill someone when you aim for them.
Then again, it's nice to come back to BF2 and have a rest from the headshot marathons.Comment

Operation... WOLF!
lol..loved that one in the arcades
I've played way too many games to remember 'em all, propably been playing since the thread starter was in diapers.. and in all those games it's the same.. allways a crowd of people who are elitaristic and keep insisting that their game is the only great one and people from other games are posers/losers/insert namecalling here, who make gameplay worse.
In my experience it's never them that win the round either, it's those same people they love to hate that get things done.. usually..Comment

Im still thinking its all these first timers coming from the console gener...that hoped on the PC bandwagon cuz BF2 had such a HUGE build up...and now that they are playing it they find that it is to hard or this and that and decide to complain about it...unfourtunatly the complainers are usually louder then the ones who like the game the way it is
edit-
The wolf series was/is AWSOME.... and then there was all those hidden levels...
who remembers -goobers in the command line parameter.... OMG remember starting games in DOS with a batch file...hahaha oh the days
