A cool idea that probably won´t come...

As we all know we have to get out of the Blackhawks to capture a flag since 1.03.
That´s a good change I think but it comes with a small problem.
Most BH Pilots fly to the flag and hover over it. So you have to get out to get the capture points as crew. The problem is that most pilots hover in a hight that results in broken legs if you jump out and it´s not high enough to open a parachute.
So my idea is; how cool would it be if the game would be changed that everyone who get´s out of a blackhawk in a hight of maybe 2-15 meters will use a rope to get down just like in the movie Blackhawk down? Would only need one more animation but it´d be a great help and look cool for sure

That would be pretty nifty, but you wouldn't be able to get back in I guess...

And if a rocket comes in, the pilot swerves and somebody falls to their doom!

Will the expansion pack allow for chopper repelling? I thought it was only for scaling and descending buildings?

That would be pretty nifty, but you wouldn't be able to get back in I guess...

And if a rocket comes in, the pilot swerves and somebody falls to their doom!

If a rocket would come and the pilot had to dodge i guess the ones getting out would "do the Orlando Bloom" then ;-) *g*
OK, that would be a problem with the hight if the Blackhawk wouldn´t stay still but I think there would be ways to solve it. And the time for roping down wouldn´t be so long anyway. Maybe just 1-2 seconds to get down.

yes great idea. so say if u want to fast roap out of the black hawk u do but ounce u press that button u fast roap out and you cant stop untill u hit the ground and you cant go back up the roap. that'd fix most probs i think

You could tie it around you neck and could just be hauled back up when the flag was captured.

good idea, but who is going to trow out the ropes? and how are you going on the rope instead of jumping or falling out? and going down a rope is like a sitting duck for the enemy.

As a BH pilot you just have to hover low and pick back up after, or just take the flag as the pilot and the other guys in the BH defend it and repair and stuff, today on mashtuur city I was BH pilot, I caped some flags and the rest stayed in the BH, doing there thing, and those miniguns aren't less powerfull if you ask me , yesterday was a gunner in the BH and jeeps, infantry where getting killed in no time by the minigun, still extremely powerfull

What I'd like to see:

1) Mechanised Dinosaurs. Seats 4-6 with chaingun eyes, missile firing arms and C4-packed exploding T-Rex testicles.

2) We need a "Naked chick with machine gun" running around the map at intervals. Might temporarily prevent aircraft/plane/tank/jeep/corvette whoring whilst the younger members "crack one off".

3) Whomever TK's the most in any one round gets a firing squad at the end of the game. All players (both sides) get to line up and plant a few rounds on him. Increased rag-doll effect for the death-throes will enhance the enjoyment for all of this final encounter.

4) Kate-Moss power-ups. One white line and your ability to run further is increased. Side effects include a bloody nose and being dropped from any further USMC/MEC perfume campaigns.

5) Signpost equipment. Player can type a short amount of text, said-text then appears on a sign that a player can hold up and show to a mortally wounded enemy as he lies on the ground. Suggestions include "It's ok to cry", and "Should have moved sooner".

the expansion pack shouldn't be treated as a new patch. More of a cover up.

Awesome, especially the last one - that would be wicked and sooo humiliating. Right now I can only stand over him with my Medic Kit / Shock Paddles or scratch him with my knife.
